Labor Relations Co-Chair Discusses Faster Labor Contracts Act Concerns

In an interview with Bloomberg Law, Steven Bernstein discussed employer concerns surrounding the bipartisan Faster Labor Contracts Act. Steven warned that the bill could inadvertently exacerbate timelines rather than accelerate them. “If the FMCS is ultimately flooded with these, which is certainly a possibility, and given their current composition and constitution, it’s fair to ask whether this is going to move the process along any faster at all or could inadvertently create even more delay,” said Steven.
