Fisher Phillips, an international law firm representing employers, was ranked by the Los Angeles Times as one of the largest labor and employment law firms in LA County. With over 89 attorneys in its Los Angeles and Woodland Hills offices, Fisher Phillips snagged the third spot in the 2026 rankings, which is up from fifth place in 2025.
Fisher Phillips has been operating in Southern California for over thirty-five years after establishing its first outpost in Irvine in 1990. The firm’s first office in LA County opened in Los Angeles over 15 years ago with the Woodland Hills office opening in the summer of 2020.
Over the years, the firm has experienced explosive growth with over 257 attorneys stationed across the state to help employers navigate California’s changing workplace laws and increased risk of litigation.
The LA Times’ annual ranking measures firms by number of attorneys dedicated to labor and employment matters in their local LA County offices. The firm's Los Angeles practice is led by partners Todd B. Scherwin and Kristen J. Nesbit, and the firm’s Woodland Hills office is led by partner Nicole Golob.
