And for employers, he explains that it is important to get in front of any potential immigration problems tied to recent layoffs in the tech industry, but he notes that “[w]ith some creative management, companies can work through this just fine.” He also makes clear that while the rolling tech layoffs may throw a wrench in workers’ green card plans, their “immigrant dreams” are certainly not over.
