In an interview with Automotive News, Kevin Troutman discusses how dealerships are managing potentially thorny issues around vaccinations. Kevin cited the firm’s recent survey that received more than 700 responses. While our survey found that “overall, about 15 percent of employers” would enact vaccine mandates or had considered them, just 9 percent of automotive clients felt that way. But as infections are back on the rise in showrooms, there’s a risk to employers. “We’re seeing [OSHA] out there doing more inspections,” Kevin said noting that some companies opted to institute employee COVID-19 testing, a “middle ground” approach.
