In an article published by Bloomberg Law, Ben Ebbink discussed how state-level AI laws, particularly in California and Colorado, are increasing requirements for human oversight of employment decisions made with artificial intelligence. “All of these bills, they use very large, broad definitions of those terms,” such as what it means for AI tools to substantially contribute to decision-making and thus trigger disclosure requirements, said Ben.
