Overview
Kris Leonhardt is an associate in the firm’s Phoenix office. She focuses her practice on defending employers against a wide range of employment law claims, including disability, race, age, and sexual harassment, retaliation, and unlawful termination of employment.
Kris earned her J.D., cum laude, (2008) from Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, where she was a Pedrick Scholarship Recipient, worked for the Arizona Justice Project and participated in the ASU Lodestar Mediation Clinic.
Before joining Fisher Phillips, Kris gained significant litigation and trial experience practicing family, criminal, and general civil law. She also spent two years at the Arizona Attorney General’s Office. Kris has a Preeminent AV Rating, has earned the “Client Distinction Award” by Martindale-Hubbell, and was rated “Top 40 Under 40 Trial Lawyers in Arizona” by National Trial Lawyers.
Kris was admitted to the practice of law in Arizona in 2008 and Kentucky in 2010. Kris is a second-generation attorney, following in the footsteps of her father, uncles, and brother.
