Is Company Pay Policy Up To Date?


Housekeeping items abound for your business this year. And one of the most important - yet most often overlooked - items on that list involves paying your employees. Wage-and-salary policies and procedures must be continually checked and, if need be, updated to ensure your company is in compliance with the law. Many employers choose to avoid dealing with wage-and-hour issues because they can be complicated and may cost more money in extra wages. However, you can usually come into compliance simply by adjusting employees' duties and pay plans.
