Overview
Grace Horoupian is a co-regional managing partner of the Irvine office who represents employers in complex employment litigation and provides strategic advice on a wide range of workplace issues. She has particular experience defending employers in wage and hour class actions and matters brought under California’s Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA). Grace has a significant focus on the healthcare industry and regularly represents healthcare employers, including skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and other senior care providers. Her experience in the industry gives her a practical understanding of the operational, staffing, and compliance challenges healthcare employers face, which she draws on in both litigation and day-to-day counseling.
Her broader litigation practice includes defending claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, workplace violence, and wrongful discharge. She represents employers in state and federal courts as well as before state and federal agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the California Civil Rights Department (CRD), and the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE).
