Overview
Chris dedicates his practice to providing businesses with sophisticated legal solutions in labor and employment law. Throughout his career, Chris has vigorously defended unionized and non-unionized employers in a variety of matters, such as wrongful termination, sexual harassment, discrimination, and retaliation lawsuits, class and representative wage and hour matters, breach of contract, and complex business cases involving C-Suite executives. Chris is also well-versed in handling traditional labor disputes, labor arbitrations, union organizing, and unfair labor practice charges before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).
In addition to his litigation practice, Chris provides practical advice and counseling on day-to-day employment issues, including wage and hour compliance, Private Attorney General Act (PAGA) audits, CFRA/FMLA/PDL compliance, leaves and accommodations, workplace investigations, harassment, retaliation, discipline and discharge, reductions-in-force, and union avoidance issues. Additionally, Chris is well-versed in navigating complex compensation issues and drafting compensation agreements. His experience crosses various industries, such as construction, retail, fast-food, energy, manufacturing, automotive, hospitality, tech startups, and cannabis.
