Overview

Chantell Foley is a partner in the firm’s Louisville office. Chantell is a member of the firm’s Workplace Safety and Catastrophe Management Practice Group with a focus on Occupational Safety and Health (“OSHA”) compliance and disputes. She represents employers in contesting OSHA citations, navigating OSHA inspections, and advising and training employees in OSHA compliance.

Prior to joining the firm, Chantell was an attorney with the Kentucky Labor Cabinet, Department of Workplace Standards (“Kentucky OSHA”). This experience allows Chantell to provide unique insight into workplace inspection procedures and the citation process. She is also equipped to provide employers with the best defense tactics when defending OSHA violations. While Chantell is well-versed in the area of OSHA law, she also represents employers in all aspects of labor and employment law including charges of discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and other employment-related claims.

Chantell accrued many years of practical experience working as an assembler in the automotive industry and owning and operating a sub shop with her husband prior to beginning her legal career. These experiences allow Chantell to quickly understand client needs and propose efficient solutions to workplace safety and employment issues.
