Overview

Arthur Ramirez is an associate in Fisher Phillips’ Irvine office. He defends employers in a variety of employment law matters, including wage and hour violations, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other similar claims. He also handles representative class action and Private Attorneys General Act matters along with Americans with Disabilities Act claims for businesses. Arthur frequently counsels clients on preventative advice regarding company policies and practices as well. 

Arthur has successfully drafted motions in state, federal, and arbitration forums, including in front of the California Supreme Court, and has obtained numerous rulings granting in full a motion for summary judgment. Arthur represents businesses in a variety of industries, ranging from manufacturing, medical, retail, professional employer organizations, and more.

Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Arthur worked as a legal assistant for the Public Law Center’s Immigration and Domestic Violence clinics, where he assisted clients of diverse backgrounds. Arthur was also a judicial extern to the Honorable Scott C. Clarkson of the United States Bankruptcy Court.

Arthur earned his law degree from Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law and graduated cum laude, in the top 9% of his class. Arthur was also awarded The National Order of Scribes as an Outstanding Law Graduate, chosen by the law school’s faculty for those who demonstrate outstanding legal writing and the highest levels of professionalism. Additionally, Arthur served as a mentor for the university’s First-Generation Scholars Program.

Prior to attending law school, Arthur earned his B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, graduating summa cum laude.
