News

4.15.20

In an interview with EHS Today, workplace safety lawyers Travis Vance and Nicholas Hulse explain how the CDC’s updated return-to-work standards will impact employers now that workers who have survived COVID-19 are likely to start returning to the workplace. In the article the pair describes the recommendations as a way to help prevent most – but not all - instances of secondary spread of the virus. They explain that “[w]hat’s updated is that you can bring an employee back to work from home isolation when they satisfy one of the two options presented by the CDC.” The article goes on to describe the CDC’s two options, and Travis and Nick emphasize the fact that “the decision to discontinue home isolation should be made along these guidelines, while also considering the context of local circumstance.”
