Social Media Changing The Rules Of Workplace
Steve Bernstein, a partner in the Tampa office, was one of several labor and employment attorneys interviewed for the article “Social Media Changing The Rules Of Workplace” in the November 30 issue of the Tampa Bay Business Journal. The article noted the many ways that social media has changed the landscape of labor and employment law over the past few years. Steve said social media has become the “water cooler” of the 21st century, blurring the lines between work and social life, and inviting a host of compliance issues along the way. It has also given employers new hiring tools that, if used properly, can help them to hire a quality workforce under an increasingly restrictive environment.
