Ben Ebbink is quoted in the Daily Journal article “State AG tries to clarify how new immigration enforcement law must be followed.” This article discusses the attorneys and stakeholders need for clarification of the new law regulating how employers deal with immigration enforcement agents.
“Without a definition. I think that is one continuing area of ambiguity in the law,” Ben said. “It would have been nice to have some guidance on exactly who we are talking about.”
He added the guidance was useful to lawyers, employees and employers wanting to understand the approach of the attorney general’s and labor commissioners’ offices to enforcing the law.
