This 90-minute webinar will discuss:
- A summary of Title IX litigation developments, including cases involving both alleged victims of sex assault and students challenging discipline meted out by their college or university for sexual misconduct;
- Recent pronouncements from the Department of Education Office regarding Title IX;
- Practical steps institutions can take to deal with the evolving challenges in this area.
The webinar will be given by higher education legal expert Scott Schneider. Scott is a partner in the New Orleans and Houston offices of Fisher Phillips and instructor at Tulane Law School where he teaches courses on Title IX and Higher Education Law. Scott formerly served in the Office of General Counsel at Tulane University and is the head of Fisher Phillips’s Higher Education Practice Group which provides counsel and litigation support on a host of education issues for colleges and universities.
