Restrictive Covenants and Trade Secrets in the Post-Pandemic World

Modern Approaches to Employee Mobility, Information Safeguards and Competitive Advantage

Event

Thursday, September 22, 2022 and Tuesday, September 27, 2022
12:00 – 2:00 p.m. EDT both days

Space for this program is limited and reserved for clients and prospective clients of Fisher Phillips. By registering, you will be signed up for both sessions and will receive an email confirmation upon review of registration details.

Join Fisher Phillips for our 2nd annual two-part webinar program focused on employee mobility and its interplay with restrictive covenants and the protection of trade secrets.

The relentless evolution of technology, alongside increasing demands of employees enjoying the leverage associated with a tight labor market, bring continued questions about how employers can best manage sensitive information and staffing strategies. Against the backdrop of what we hope is an end to certain pandemic-era concerns, employers still have plenty of challenges with respect to protecting their most vital interests.

Day 1 topics include:

  • The latest legal and regulatory developments concerning restrictive covenants, at the federal and state levels
  • Strategies for approaching the challenges that multi-state employers face when rolling out restrictive covenants on an enterprise-wide basis

Day 2 topics include:

  • The practical implications of rapidly growing hybrid and remote work arrangements on employers' posture regarding restrictive covenants and trade secrets
  • Specific scenarios where hybrid and remote work arrangements, which are expected to remain even as the pandemic recedes, may threaten the integrity of highly sensitive information

The firm is submitting this webinar for HRCI/SHRM credit.

Fisher Phillips will make all reasonable efforts to obtain CLE credit for this program in every state that is relevant to attendee’s MCLE needs. In certain instances, some programs may not be awarded CLE credit because of content, delivery or jurisdictional restrictions.
