FP Cares
FP Cares is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) formed by Fisher Phillips to support the firm’s community engagement and charitable activities. Led by our Director of Pro Bono & Community Engagement, local FP Cares teams in each of the firm’s offices organize and implement community engagement programming throughout the year.
In 2023, FP Cares launched a partnership with CureSearch for Children’s Cancer, an innovative organization dedicated to ending childhood cancer by driving targeted and innovative research with measurable results in an accelerated timeframe.
We were honored to receive the CureSearch “Champion for Cures Award” recognizing the Fisher Phillips family’s impact throughout 2024, and our Chairman and Managing Partner, John Polson, has been appointed to the CureSearch Board of Directors.
Recent projects include:
- At the firm’s 2024 All Attorney Retreat, we put our theme, “fpIMPACT” into action by raising $200,000 to support CureSearch.
-
Fisher Phillips launched its first annual firm-wide “FP Week of Impact” when the entire FP team joined together to support and celebrate the work of CureSearch. Our offices across the U.S. proudly participated in CureSearch’s Notes of Hope initiative by creating over 3,000 handmade uplifting notes for CureSearch to deliver to children receiving care in pediatric cancer units.
-
FP offices across the country join together each year for our “Days of Service Challenge” to serve our communities in Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s honor. Nearly 200 FP team members in 20+ offices volunteered last year to support various local non-profit organizations, from assisting food distribution centers to assembling comfort bags for cancer patients.
-
At the firm’s 2022 All Attorney Retreat, our team assembled nearly 200 care boxes packed with toys and activities for hospitalized children and their siblings staying at the local Phoenix/Scottsdale-area Ronald McDonald House.
