Overview

Will Choppin defends and advises employers in complex labor and employment law issues, including those involving FLSA minimum wage and overtime laws, Title VII, and § 1981, as well as matters arising under laws of the state of Tennessee and California. Will also advises on compliance and regulatory issues. He has published articles on Fair Housing matters and regularly presents at employment law educational sessions.

Before joining Fisher Phillips, Will was the General Counsel at the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency where he provided counsel and advice to the President and CEO and all department directors, handled litigation and transactional matters, ensured statutory and regulatory compliance, and responded to investigations and inquiries from government agencies.
