Overview

Talar Tavlian represents employers in federal and state courts in connection with various employment law disputes and counsels them on labor and employment law matters. She has extensive litigation experience handling discrimination, retaliation, and harassment cases, as well as product liability, premises liability, insurance, and professional liability claims. 

Talar graduated from Loyola Law School, where she served as a Senior Production Editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Entertainment Law Review. During law school, she served as an extern for the Honorable Dickran Tevrizian of the United States District Court for Central District of California and the Honorable Fumiko Wasserman of the Los Angeles Superior Court.

Community Activities

Talar engages in a variety of community service activities, such as volunteering at the Downtown Women’s Center, the only organization in Los Angeles exclusively dedicated to addressing the needs of women overcoming poverty and homelessness in Skid Row in Los Angeles. Talar is also actively involved in the FP Cares program, which built a playground for a local women and children’s domestic violence shelter, regularly adopts families during the holiday season and has raised funds for the L.A. Food Bank.
