Overview
Sara Myirski advises and represents businesses in various workplace law matters, with a particular focus on handling disputes involving the movement of employees between competitor firms. This includes advising and litigating with respect to covenants not to compete, non-solicitation, non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements, as well as addressing issues under the federal Defend Trade Secrets Act (DTSA), state trade secrets laws, common law fiduciary duty and duty of loyalty, and related claims for unfair competition. Sara litigates these matters not only in Pennsylvania, but in jurisdictions throughout the United States.
In addition to her work on employee transition matters, Sara advises clients on general employment issues, such as wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, hostile work environment, and wrongful discharge. Sara can also assist employers with drafting and updating policies and handbooks, FLSA exempt/non-exempt classification, ADA reasonable accommodations, independent contractor status, and restrictive covenant agreements.
