
Overview
Rassa Ahmadi, a partner in Fisher Phillips’ Denver office, leverages her deep in-house experience to counsel and defend employers in a wide range of labor and employment matters.
Rassa brings a practical, business-oriented approach to advising clients on compliance with federal and state employment laws, workplace investigations, employee classification issues, and wage and hour audits. She has extensive experience defending against California class actions and cases brought under the California Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA); responding to agency actions from the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), California Civil Rights Division (CRD), and California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR); handling pre-litigation demands; and negotiating early resolutions. Rassa also advises employers on proactive risk management, including the development and implementation of compensation practices and workplace policies for multi-jurisdictional workforces.
Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Rassa served as Assistant General Counsel, Employment at a multinational food distribution company, where she oversaw complex employment litigation, including wage and hour class actions, PAGA actions, and other high-stakes employment disputes across multiple jurisdictions. She also advised HR and management on a wide range of compliance matters.
