Overview
Rachel Song is an associate in the firm's San Francisco office who advises and represents employers in a broad range of single-plaintiff and class action employment matters, including discrimination, wage and hour, wrongful termination, retaliation, and workplace investigations. She also advises clients on data privacy and cybersecurity matters and represents businesses in litigation involving alleged violations of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the California Invasion of Privacy Act (CIPA), and other state and federal privacy statutes and regulations. Her practice includes counseling clients on privacy compliance, assessing litigation risk, and defending privacy-related claims alongside complex employment disputes.
Rachel received her J.D. from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings) where she was a Legal Education Opportunity Program Scholar, a Provost's Scholar, Moot Court competitor, clerk for the California Court of Appeal (First Appellate District, Division Three), and Senior Articles Editor for The Hastings Law Journal.
