Assistant Counsel, Risk and Compliance
Overview
Rachel is a member of the Firm’s Office of the General Counsel, where she focuses on proactively identifying and mitigating legal, operational, and reputational risks to ensure the Firm meets evolving client compliance expectations, regulatory requirements, and professional responsibility obligations.
With 30 years of legal experience working in corporate legal departments, Rachel has held senior roles at both Fortune 100 companies and smaller manufacturing organizations. Her background includes commercial transactions, ethics and compliance program development, government contracting, and litigation management. At the Firm, she leads the review and negotiation of outside counsel guidelines, vendor agreements, client and expert engagements, and advises on professional responsibility and conflicts matters. Rachel partners closely with firm leadership and practice groups to structure contractual arrangements that appropriately allocate risk while supporting the Firm's business and client service objectives.
Prior to joining the Firm, Rachel served as Vice President of Ethics and Compliance for a manufacturing company and held a series of legal positions of increasing responsibility at a Fortune 100 corporation.
