Overview
Michaela focuses on traditional labor law and employer-side labor relations. She advises and defends employers across a range of matters arising under the National Labor Relations Act, including union organizing and decertification campaigns, unfair labor practice proceedings, collective bargaining negotiations, and labor arbitration. She also represents employers in employment law disputes involving claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination.
Michaela has participated in multiple arbitration proceedings on behalf of employers across a range of industries, including chemical and industrial operations, healthcare organizations, and public-sector clients. Her arbitration work spans all phases of the proceeding — from drafting pre-hearing preparation materials and witness outlines to cross-examining grievants, directing witness examinations, and preparing post-hearing briefs.
