Meagan Allen has a diverse litigation background and defends employers in class actions and multi-state regulatory compliance issues. Dedicated to providing effective and practical solutions to complex business problems, Meagan has experience in a wide range of business disputes, from labor and employment and contractual disputes to misappropriation of trade secrets and deceptive trade practices. She has represented clients in various industries, including financial institutions, automotive manufacturers, and medical professionals, in state and federal courts, as well as regulatory enforcement actions and pre-litigation disputes. Her experience also includes advising clients in government investigations, data and cybersecurity, and safety compliance audits.
Before joining Fisher Phillips, Meagan was an associate at a civil litigation law firm in Charlotte, North Carolina where she focused on defending corporate and small business clients in complex commercial litigation. She began her legal career as a judicial law clerk to a Circuit Court Judge in the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit of South Carolina. While in law school, Meagan served as Editor-in-Chief for the South Carolina Journal of International Law and Business and was a member of both the John Belton O’Neall Inn of Court and the Diversity and Inclusion Task Force.
