Associate
Overview
Matthew Eyerdam defends businesses in a broad range of labor and employment disputes in both federal and state courts. Drawing on experience representing clients from Fortune 500 companies to public sector entities, Matthew handles claims involving employment discrimination, workplace investigations, internal complaints, and other employment related disputes, including matters before the Ohio Civil Rights Commission (OCRC) and state and federal courts. He regularly counsels clients in the public safety, education, healthcare, utilities, manufacturing, and real estate sectors.
Before joining Fisher Phillips, Matthew was an associate attorney and law clerk at a regional law firm, where he represented both plaintiffs and defendants in employment litigation and conducted high-level workplace investigations for public and private sector clients. This experience, combined with his hands-on work in internal investigations and risk assessment, gives him a valuable perspective when guiding employers through complex employment law challenges.
