Overview
Marissa Franco represents employers of all sizes in a wide variety of labor and employment matters. Her diverse practice includes providing advice and counsel, handling pre-litigation and litigation disputes, and successfully trying cases to verdict.
Marissa has experience litigating claims involving wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblower claims, as well as Private Attorney General Act (PAGA) actions and class actions in state and federal court. She represents employers before a variety of state and federal government agencies, including the California Civil Rights Division, the California Division of Labor Standard Enforcement, the Montana Human Rights Bureau, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Department of Labor, and the National Labor Relations Board. Marissa also conducts workplace investigations and trainings in English and Spanish, and advises employers on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programs and policies.
