Overview

Marcia draws on more than 25 years of experience advising and defending employers in all aspects of workplace law. She represents management in high-stakes matters involving employee defection; misappropriation of trade secrets; wage and hour compliance; and claims of workplace harassment, discrimination, and failure to accommodate. Marcia works with clients to identify and mitigate legal risks that align and advance their broader business objectives.

Known for her strategic approach to complex employment disputes, Marcia has defended employers in administrative proceedings and at the trial and appellate levels in state and federal court across the Southeast. Marcia works proactively with her clients to prevent litigation through updated policy creation, as well as compliance training, while maintaining the readiness to aggressively defend matters when disputes arise. Marcia also has experience as a Rule 31 Neutral, serving as mediator or arbitrator for workplace-related disputes.
