Overview
Lauren represents and advises employers on a wide range of employment issues, including claims arising under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and similar state and local laws. While affiliated with the Washington, D.C. and Charlotte offices, Lauren is based in the Raleigh, North Carolina area and serves as trusted employment counsel to local, regional, and nationwide employers navigating complex, multi-jurisdictional compliance and workplace challenges.
A seasoned litigator, Lauren aggressively defends employers in state and federal courts and before federal, state, and local administrative agencies nationwide. She has extensive experience handling high-stakes employment disputes across a range of sectors, including aviation, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, higher education, transportation and supply chain, and hospitality. Her experience includes successfully defending employers against discrimination, disability, leave, and related workplace claims, as well as guiding clients through complex arbitrations and other alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
