Overview
Katie Bostrom represents employers across the full spectrum of employment litigation and advisory services. Her practice is built on a dual approach: defending clients against active claims while providing the strategic counsel necessary to prevent litigation before it starts.
While practicing in Montana, Utah, Colorado, and North Dakota, Katie specializes in navigating the complexities of state and federal employment laws in the Rocky Mountains region, with a particular focus on litigation and regulatory issues. She also works closely with leadership teams to modernize employee handbooks, lead staff training, and refine internal policies to ensure they are both compliant and practical.
Katie also leads the firm’s tribal client/company practice and as a member of the Fort Peck Assiniboine and Sioux Tribes takes great pride in representing and counseling tribes and their councils.
While in law school at the University of Colorado, Katie served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Kristen L. Mix at the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, gaining a behind-the-bench perspective on federal litigation. Originally from Montana, Katie is also a former Division I Track and Cross-Country captain at North Dakota State University and brings her competitive edge and disciplined leadership to every case she handles.
