Overview

Jeffrey Natori brings more than three decades of international legal experience to Fisher Phillips’ Tokyo office, with a practice focused on helping U.S., Japanese, and multinational businesses navigate complex cross-border legal and compliance matters. He advises clients on labor and employment issues that arise in the context of international business operations, M&A transactions, and global compliance programs.

Before joining Fisher Phillips, Jeffrey served as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel in the Yokohama office of an American multinational technology and computer software company, where he led the company’s overseas legal team and managed international contract negotiations, distributor relationships, compliance initiatives, and major transactions. He has also held senior in-house roles and practiced at leading international and Japanese law firms in Tokyo, advising start-up companies, domestic Japanese companies as well as foreign clients on cross-border acquisitions, divestitures, real estate transactions, technology licensing and procurement agreements, and large-scale construction projects.

Fluent in Japanese and trained in both U.S. and Japanese legal environments, Jeffrey draws on deep regional experience and cultural fluency to support clients operating across Japan, the U.S., and Mexico.

He holds a J.D. from Delaware Law School, and M.B.A. in International Business from Drexel University, and a B.A. in International Studies from American University. He also completed a full-time Japanese language program at Nichibei Kaiwa Gakuin in Tokyo.
