Jefferson Blandford brings more than 25 years of labor and employment law experience to employers navigating high-stakes disputes and complex compliance challenges. He defends businesses and large organizations in matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour claims, and employment-related litigation under federal and state statutes, including Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, and FLSA. With strategic leadership experience in both the public and private sectors, Jefferson has managed legal teams and partnered with executive leaders to deliver practical, business-focused solutions that minimize risk and support organizational objectives.
Before joining Fisher Phillips, Jefferson served as Chief Litigation & Employment Counsel for a major public research university, where he managed complex litigation and administrative proceedings, led a team of legal professionals, and provided strategic counsel to executive leadership on regulatory compliance, risk management, and organizational governance.
