
Jean Cleveland
General Counsel
Overview
Jean Cleveland is a member of Fisher Phillips’ Executive Leadership Team and serves as the firm’s General Counsel. In this role, Jean advises the firm’s Management Committee and firm attorneys on a broad range of matters involving legal ethics, professional responsibility, risk management, conflicts of interest, and compliance across the firm’s offices and practice areas. Jean works closely with the Management Committee and firm leadership to develop and implement firm-wide policies and procedures addressing risk mitigation, loss prevention, and governance. She plays a central role in supporting the firm’s strategic objectives while safeguarding its professional and ethical standards.
Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Jean served as Assistant General Counsel at an AmLaw 50 firm. Earlier in her career, she represented lawyers, law firms, hospitals, and physicians in professional liability litigation and general litigation matters.
