Jalen Augustine-Porter
Associate
Overview
Jalen Augustine-Porter counsels and defends employers on a wide range of labor and employment litigation, with a focus on claims involving discrimination, harassment, wage and hour violations, and employment compensation disputes. Jalen represents businesses across industries in federal and state court, handling single-plaintiff actions, complex commercial disputes, and matters arising under statutes such as Title VII, the FLSA, and state law equivalents. He guides clients through all phases of litigation, from initial investigation and pleadings to dispositive motion practice and trial preparation.
Before joining Fisher Phillips, Jalen served as a clerk to the Honorable Susan D. Wigenton in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. He was also an associate at a regional law firm where he represented employers and businesses in labor and employment litigation in both state and federal courts. In that role, he gained valuable insight into the challenges employers face and honed his skills in defending against high-stakes employment law claims.
