Overview
Jacob Waschak is an associate in the firm’s Los Angeles office and represents employers in a variety of workplace matters, with a focus on wage and hour claims. Jacob also has experience providing advice on wage and hour policies, employee handbooks, expense reimbursement, non-solicitation causes, and independent contractor classifications.
Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Jacob was an associate at a Am Law 100 firm in Los Angeles where he litigated class and PAGA matters, including defending against representative and individual wage and hour suits and arbitrations. He also was a law clerk for the United States District Court of the Central District of California and a judicial extern to the Honorable Stephen Reinhardt of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
