Overview
Greg Hendershott is a seasoned trial lawyer who draws on his courtroom experience to help clients avoid litigation. He delivers straightforward, strategic counsel to employers across the full spectrum of workplace legal issues – from executive compensation and employment agreements to disability accommodations, leaves of absence, workplace culture, union relations, policies and handbooks, discipline, and sensitive terminations.
A trusted advisor on labor and employment matters, Greg is known for providing practical guidance that aligns legal compliance with business goals. He regularly conducts workplace training on harassment and other key issues, and he leads complex internal investigations, including those involving executive misconduct and high-stakes reputational risk. His deep litigation background – including serving as first chair in a wide range of employment disputes – gives him valuable insights that help clients mitigate risk and prevent costly legal battles.
Greg’s trial experience includes national class action wage and hour cases, employment discrimination, compensation disputes, and noncompete/trade secret litigation. Notably, he won a recent AAA Arbitration in which a sales representative was claiming several million dollars in unpaid commission. The Arbitrator awarded Greg’s client prevailing party attorney fees.
On the labor front, Greg advises on collective bargaining, unfair labor practice claims, picketing, strikes, union organizing, and project labor agreements (PLAs). He successfully led negotiations with the Machinists Union to secure a surcharge payment related to an underfunded multiemployer pension plan – achieved without a work stoppage.
Greg’s investigative work has included leading a team tasked with addressing a “boy’s club” culture at a major tech company. Greg has overseen numerous workplace investigations involving harassment, gender discrimination in pay, promotions and terminations, and religious discriminations. His findings were presented to the board, which implemented the recommended remediation strategy including company-wide training.
