Overview
With more than 12 years of high-level experience representing employers and businesses across the country, G. Edwin Rush defends clients in single-plaintiff and multi-party employment litigation, including discrimination, retaliation, FMLA, and wage and hour matters. He guides companies of all sizes—from startups to national corporations—through claims involving state and federal statutes such as Title VII, FMLA, and the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA), as well as cases involving whistleblower retaliation and violations of California’s Business and Professions Code § 17200.
Drawing on significant experience in both state and federal courts, Edwin has achieved favorable outcomes in matters valued at more than $80 million. He directs internal investigations and advises employers on compliance with evolving employment laws. His hands-on approach includes drafting and negotiating employment-related contracts, counseling on risk mitigation strategies, and providing preventive advice to help businesses avoid costly disputes.
