Eryne Walvekar

Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Eryne practiced at an Am Law 100 firm, where she advised employers on immigration compliance requirements and complex business immigration matters, including immigration options for entrepreneurs and the impact of corporate restructuring on visa-dependent employees.

Eryne is a member of the Federal Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), the ABA-affiliated association for attorneys practicing immigration law. She has presented and authored articles on immigration matters, including consular processing, I-9 compliance and worksite investigations, and advanced PERM issues.

Eryne earned her law degree from the University of Washington School of Law, where she participated in the Immigration Law Clinic and served as Executive Comments Editor for the Washington International Law Journal. During law school, she externed for the Honorable Ricardo S. Martinez, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington and interned with the Washington State Bar Association’s Office of Disciplinary Counsel and the Washington State Attorney General’s Office.
