David J. Creighton

David Creighton defends and advises employers on a wide range of workplace matters, including discrimination and retaliation claims, hiring and termination procedures, and compliance with federal and state employment laws.

Before joining Fisher Phillips, David worked at a regional law firm, where he represented a diverse client base, including healthcare providers, restaurants, and hospitality businesses, in labor and employment litigation and day-to-day counseling. He also brings valuable perspective from his years as in-house corporate counsel for multi-unit restaurant franchises, where he directly managed employment law compliance, policy development, and workplace investigations, giving him a practical understanding of the challenges employers face. Additionally, David has significant litigation experience in the insurance defense arena that includes defending hundreds of first property damage insurance claims from initial litigation onset through trial and appeals. He also has made successful appearances on behalf of clients before the Louisiana Supreme Court.
