Daniel Barrett

Daniel Barrett is an associate in Fisher Phillips’ Atlanta office and serves as a trusted advisor, investigator, and litigator for the businesses he represents. Daniel regularly counsels employers and businesses through employment issues and crises, including discrimination and harassment complaints, discipline, termination,  recruitment, hiring, plant closings, leave and accommodations, wage and hour compliance and disputes, government audits, and compliance with federal and state employment laws. He also frequently conducts and advises employers on workplace investigations of employee and executive conduct. His focus on preventive advice and investigations helps employers mitigate risk and often avoid costly and time-consuming litigation.

When litigation becomes necessary, Daniel has successfully represented businesses in lawsuits and administrative charges involving allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour violations, and unfair competition, and has provided advice and counsel to employers with unionized workforces in labor grievances and arbitrations. In addition to his employment practice, Daniel has represented businesses in complex commercial litigation, including actions involving contractual, shareholder and franchising disputes, and business torts and civil RICO claims.
