Overview
Christopher Champine represents employers in all aspects of traditional labor and employment law and litigation, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour violations in single-plaintiff, multi-party, class action, and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) lawsuits in state and federal courts and in arbitration. Christopher has obtained successful outcomes for small businesses, industry leaders, and Fortune 100 companies in litigation and regularly provides advice and counseling in wage and hour compliance, alternative workweek scheduling, employment policy development, data security, and consumer privacy regulations. Christopher was selected to San Diego Super Lawyers - Rising Stars in 2022, 2023, and 2024.
Prior to joining Fisher Phillips to focus on labor and employment litigation, Christopher practiced as an associate within the Trial Practice Group at an Am Law 100 firm in San Diego, where he defended corporate and higher education clients against tort and contractual claims, wage and hour class actions, sexual harassment, and discrimination claims in state and federal court. Christopher also regularly provided assistance in real estate and land use litigation matters.
