Charmaine Voorhees Becken is a seasoned trial attorney who defends employers in a broad spectrum of matters, including claims of discrimination, retaliation, and enforcement of employment agreements such as non-competes and confidentiality provisions.
Charmaine brings more than a decade’s worth of experience to her practice, having served as both first and second chair in jury and bench trials in state court and arbitrations. She has supervised teams through all stages of complex litigation, from pre-suit investigation through trial and appeal. Her ability to manage cases strategically and efficiently makes her a valued partner to clients navigating contentious employment disputes.
Before joining Fisher Phillips, Charmaine maintained a diverse commercial litigation practice representing corporate clients and executives in contract disputes, partnership conflicts, and fiduciary duty claims – often involving millions of dollars in potential exposure.
She earned her J.D. from Texas A&M University School of Law, where she served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Martin Hoffman of the 68thDistrict Court in Dallas.
