Overview
Carol Field brings more than two decades of hands-on litigation and counseling experience to her role as Special Counsel in Fisher Phillips’ Virtual Office, where she defends businesses in labor and employment disputes. Carol handles a broad spectrum of matters, including claims involving employment discrimination, workplace retaliation, wage and hour litigation under the FLSA, civil rights, and restrictive covenant disputes. She has experience managing complex litigation teams and in guiding clients through all phases of employment litigation from pre-suit investigations and administrative agency responses to trial and arbitration.
Before joining Fisher Phillips, Carol served as Senior Assistant Attorney General in the Office of the Attorney General for Florida, where she litigated complex labor and employment matters brought against corporate defendants, including high-profile cases involving alleged violations of state deceptive and unfair trade practices statutes. She also spent 15 years at a well-known international labor and employment firm where she first-chaired trials through jury verdict or final hearing in arbitration proceedings before the American Arbitration Association (AAA), JAMS, and Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
