Overview

Brent Wilson is a partner in Fisher Phillips’ Atlanta office who has spent more than four decades representing employers in complex labor and employment matters. His experience spans employment litigation, traditional labor law, workplace investigations, and mediation and arbitration. Known for his practical, business-focused approach, Brent advises clients on day-to-day employment decisions with the goal of preventing disputes before they arise.

Brent has worked with businesses across a wide range of industries, including communications, service, education, non-profit, manufacturing, and the public sector. He is a sought-after speaker for national associations and organizations on litigation, labor relations, and employment law topics, and served as an adjunct professor at Emory University School of Law. A respected civic leader in Atlanta, Brent’s influence extends well beyond the courtroom.

A native of New Orleans, Brent earned his B.A., cum laude, from Morehouse College and began his legal studies at the University of Georgia School of Law before completing his J.D. at the State University of New York at Buffalo. While in Buffalo, he clerked for a Member of the New York Public Employment Relations Board, sparking a lifelong commitment to labor law. His early career included service with the National Labor Relations Board in Atlanta, where he handled representation and unfair labor practice matters. He then joined Elarbee Thompson in 1980, where he built a distinguished practice before joining Fisher Phillips in 2025.
