
Overview
Brea Childs defends employers across various industries, including healthcare and technology, in a wide range of matters, from wage and hour class actions to single-plaintiff discrimination claims. Brea also conducts internal investigations, drafts policies and procedures, and provides proactive counseling to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with evolving employment laws. She is also well-versed in the intricacies of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the California Labor Code, and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act.
Before joining Fisher Phillips, Brea was a law clerk for the Central District of California District Court. Her experience also includes working as an associate at an international law firm where she focused on complex commercial litigation and bankruptcy litigation matters.
Brea earned her Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law, where she was a member of the Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition team and a recipient of the Boston University Martin Luther King Jr. Fellowship.
