
Overview
Austin Walker defends employers in various workplace-related claims, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination, as well as wage and hour disputes.
Before joining Fisher Phillips, Austin was an associate at a regional law firm, where he handled commercial litigation, business torts, and personal injury defense matters. He has successfully achieved dismissals of cases through dispositive motions and received defense verdicts at trial. Austin is an engaged member of the Hillsborough Community and currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Hillsborough County Bar Association’s Bar Leadership Instituted where he contributes to the mentorship of young legal professionals. He is also a former member of the Embarc Collective Young Professional’s Board, a nationally recognized startup platform located in Tampa Bay.
During law school, Austin was the Executive Research Editor for the Florida Journal of Law and Public Policy.
