Overview
Ann Moscow brings more than three decades of experience defending and advising employers, school districts, and many private and public entities in a variety of sectors of the economy, including the financial services, pharmaceutical, healthcare and retail sectors, in labor and employment law matters throughout New York and the surrounding region. She defends employers in employment discrimination, retaliation, and civil rights litigation under statutes such as Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, FLSA and Section 1983 of the federal Civil Rights Act and represents clients in single-plaintiff and multi-party actions in both federal and state courts. Ann is known for her pragmatic, solutions-oriented counsel to employers navigating workplace policies, compliance, and investigations, as well as her hands-on approach to resolving disputes through negotiation, mediation, and arbitration, and a straightforward, candid and accessible communication style.
Before joining Fisher Phillips, Ann practiced at several regional law firms, where she defended school districts and public and private entities in employment discrimination and civil rights litigation. She also provided day-to-day counseling and policy development for employers and managed a broad range of employment law disputes from inception through resolution.
