Workplace Privacy in a Post-Pandemic Era - fpVirtual with our Louisville Office
Event
5.12.21
2:00 PM — 3:00 PM EST
In this six-month complimentary series, the Fisher Phillips Louisville attorneys will present virtually on trending labor and employment law topics affecting employers across the country in a post-pandemic era. This program is designed for HR managers, in-house counsel, safety managers and those who manage employees.
The past year delivered big changes to the privacy and cybersecurity landscape, from an uptick in ransomware attacks stemming from COVID-19 pandemic to more stringent privacy laws and regulations designed to offer greater protection to the U.S. workforce. The abrupt shift to remote work at the outset of the pandemic gave IT departments little time to adapt and strengthen data security protocols, and malicious cybercriminals jumped at the opportunity to attack these vulnerable networks. These attacks compounded the headaches employers were already facing from the economic hardships created by the pandemic. This program, presented by Louisville attorneys Cynthia Blevins Doll and Paul Goatley, will explore the privacy issues faced by employers who have experienced an increase in remote work arrangements during the pandemic and offer practical solutions to address these challenges moving forward.
This program has been approved for 1.0 general KY CLE credit and HRCI/SHRM credit. If you have any questions, please contact Abby Tasman.
