In the October 17 BNA OSHA Daily article "With Shutdown Over, OSHA Returns to Full Enforcement and Standard-Setting Mode," Atlanta Partner Howard Mavity noted that OSHA enforcement was quickly back in place following the government shutdown. "In the first hour they were back, I scheduled three informal conferences," Howard said, " [and] two whistle-blower investigators called me by noon."
