Sheila Willis and Samina Weil published an article in Pratts’ Government Contracting Report about the new Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) certification requirements for federal contractors announced on Dec. 2, 2021.

"Federal officials recently announced that supply and service federal contractors and subcontractors who meet the designation justification thresholds for creation and maintenance of AAPs will soon need to register and certify that they are meeting their compliance obligations to develop and maintain annual AAPs via an online contractor portal,” they wrote.

In their article, they outline what federal contractors need to know about the new requirement, what they can do to prepare, and what the important dates are for contractor registration and certification in 2022.
